DPL pre-treatment care

  • Avoid Sun and Solarium Exposure 3-4 weeks before treatment.
  • No Spray Tan 2 weeks prior to treatment. DPL may be postponed if there is any spray tan in area.
  • Shave between appointments. No plucking, waxing or bleaching hair.
  • Please shave area 1-2 DAYS BEFORE TREATMENT.

DPL post treatment care

  • Cold Packs, aloe vera can be used to ease any discomfort after treatment.
  • Direct Sun Exposure is to be avoided for 3 weeks after treatment. SPF 30+ is recommended at times.
  • Hyper or Hypo Pigmentation may result on treated areas is not protected from Sun Exposure post treatment(this is usually temporary and will fade between 1-6 months)
  • Hot baths and showers, swimming pools and spas are to be avoided for 24 hours after treatment. Luke warm showers are okay.
  • If in the unlikely event a blister occurs it is usually superficial. Use burn aid from the pharmacy.
  • Dark crusting may occur after Skin Rejuvenation on pigmented lesions. Do not pick at this but allow shedding naturally.

Consent

You will have a full consultation, test patch and read and sign a consent form prior to any treatment being performed. Test patching allows the therapist to monitor your skins reaction and tolerance to treatment.The higher the setting (without any adverse reaction) the better the results. This translates into fewer treatments in the long run.

Cancellation Policy

Once your treatment has been confirmed by the therapist a minimum of 24 hours notice is required for cancellations .

Late cancellations or No-Shows will attract a 50% cancellation fee.
