How long does a treatment take?
Microdermabrasion and Sonophoresis than can take 45 to 90 minutes, depending on your skin condition and the area being treated. There is no downtime after the treatment.
How many treatments will I require?
Your skin will feel smoother and cleaner after just one treatment. To enjoy the maximum benefits a course of six treatments, at two weekly intervals, is recommended. Your skin care professional will discuss with you the most suitable treatment program for your skin.
Before your Microdermabrasion treatment
- Ensure you have not had any previous microdermabrasion, chemical peel or IPL treatment at least two weeks prior.
After your Microdermabrasion treatment
- Broad spectrum sunscreen is recommended at all times.
- Hydrate body by drinking lots of water.
- Avoid active skin products for 3-4 days following treatment.
- Do not expose skin to UV (sun exposure or sun beds) tan for at least 2 weeks after treatment.
- Avoid hot spas, saunas, excessive exercise and chlorinated pools for 1 week after appointment.
- Do not wear liquid make-up or heavy oil based products.
- Appropriate home care will be recommended.
